RICON DA 40 x 60 VM58 Beam Hanger

The RICON DA 40 x 60 VM58 Beam Hanger is a compact concealed double connection system designed for joining two beams to a single post. It provides a flush, hidden joint with high load capacity and precise alignment through the use of through-post compound nuts.

This version features 60 mm connector plates and 58 mm compound nuts for 60 mm post sections, combining small dimensions with strong load-bearing performance. The RICON DA system allows fast, accurate installation and repeatable assembly for modular and prefabricated timber structures.

• Mill the recess into the end grain of both beams using the provided template.

• Mount the connector plates using the supplied SK-screws (5×80 mm, 5×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Drill through the post and insert the compound nuts (M5 8×58 mm and M8 10×58 mm).

• Attach the opposite plates using M8x25 SK-screws.

• Align and slide both beams together until the plates interlock.

• Secure the joint with the supplied locking brackets.

• Verify alignment and perform final tightening before completing the assembly.
