RICON EA 40 x 60 Beam Hanger Set

The RICON EA 40 x 60 Beam Hanger Set is a concealed single connection system designed for compact timber assemblies where space and beam dimensions are limited. Despite its small size, it provides a strong, precise, and completely hidden joint suitable for both structural and architectural applications.

Each connector includes two identical steel plates that interlock in a dovetail-like fashion. The 60 mm plates are ideal for small timber members such as mullions, rafters, or secondary framing elements. Installation is quick, repeatable, and can be completed with standard self-tapping screws. The connection can be assembled or disassembled multiple times, making it suitable for prefabricated or modular systems.

• Mill a recess into the end grain of the beam using the supplied template.

• Mount one connector plate using SK-screws (5×50 mm, 5×80 mm, 8×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Attach the opposite plate to the post, wall, or support member.

• Align and slide the plates together until interlocked.

• Secure the joint using the supplied locking bracket.

• Check alignment and tighten all screws to specification.
