KLICK – Dovetail Connector
The KLICK dovetail connector is a double dovetail, snap-in connector designed for smaller components such as mouldings and trims. It fits into dovetail grooves cut in both joining components, creating a secure, concealed connection without visible fasteners.
For projects without a routed groove, the KLICKpro adapter can be installed with nails, staples, or screws, providing a compatible mounting solution for both KLICK and sKLICK. Grooves are cut using the custom KLICK Dovetail Router Bit, available in 1/4″, 1/2″, and 8 mm shank sizes, ensuring a precise fit.
Made of durable, UV- and weather-resistant PA6 plastic, KLICK connectors are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Their self-tightening design eliminates the need for clamps or glue, reduces labor, and helps maintain clean, seamless finishes without nail holes or surface damage.

Instructions
Steps
-
Cut dovetail grooves in both workpieces using the KLICK Dovetail Router Bit (K048/F).
-
Press the KLICK connector into the groove.
-
Align and assemble the opposing workpiece by snapping it into place with a rubber mallet.
Tips
-
The KLICK is designed to pull itself deeper into the dovetail groove, making it self-tightening.
-
Use one connector every 8–10 inches (200–250 mm) or as needed for maximum holding strength.
Note for CNC Machining
-
For easier processing, pre-cut a 4 mm kerf before routing the dovetail groove with the KLICK Dovetail Router Bit (K048/F).
