WALCO V60 KS Screw & Washer Prefab Wall Connector

The WALCO V60 KS Screw & Washer Prefab Wall Connector is a concealed connection system designed for joining prefabricated timber walls, CLT wall panels, and light-frame building components. This KS version uses a collar screw with an integrated washer, which engages into a hot-dip galvanized V-shaped receiving bracket.

The compact V60 format is optimized for smaller wall elements while maintaining high installation accuracy, fast engagement, and reliable transfer of wind and tension loads. The system is suitable for full workshop prefabrication and enables rapid jobsite assembly without visible hardware once installed.

1. Install the KS Collar Screw:

   • Pre-drill if necessary.

   • Fasten the collar screw with integrated washer directly into the timber element.

2. Mount the Bracket:

   • Position the V60 bracket based on layout marks.

   • Secure the bracket using approved screws in the designated locations.

3. Engage the Joint:

   • Align the collar screw with the V-shaped guide.

   • Slide the wall element into the bracket until fully seated.

4. Verify Positioning:

   • Check that the connection is completely engaged and stable.

5. No Additional Fasteners Required:

   • Once engaged, the connection provides immediate structural stability.
