WALCO V80 EH Retaining Screw Prefab Wall Connector

The WALCO V80 EH Retaining Screw Prefab Wall Connector is a concealed wall-to-wall connection designed for joining prefabricated timber walls, CLT wall panels, and main beam interfaces with high accuracy. This EH version uses an adjustable retaining screw, allowing the installer to fine-tune the screw position before final engagement with the hot-dip galvanized V-shaped bracket.

The adjustable screw provides precise control during alignment, making the EH version especially useful when compensating for small variations in panel layout or sheathing thickness. Once aligned, the wall panel slides into the bracket in a dovetail-like motion, forming a stable connection capable of transferring wind loads perpendicular to the insertion direction, as well as tension forces.

• Install the Adjustable Retaining Screw:

  • Mount the bracket with approved screws according to layout markings.

  • Confirm vertical and horizontal alignment.

• Engage the Connection:

  • Align the retaining screw with the V-shaped opening.

  • Slide the wall panel into the bracket until the screw fully engages the receiver.

• Fine Adjustment:

  • Use the adjustable screw to correct small positional tolerances.

• Finalize Assembly:

  • Verify the panel is fully seated.
