KOMBI Hook Connector

The KOMBI Hook Connector is a concealed hanging connector made of aluminum-zinc die-cast, designed to attach wooden panels to either the KOMBI Mounting Bracket or a perforated wall rail. This biscuit-style hook sits in a standard #10 biscuit slot and can be screwed in with the included PH screws or glued in with KNAPP PU+ Adhesive. Once installed, panels simply hook on and lift off — no tools needed to mount or remove.

The KOMBI system is purpose-built for wall cladding, decorative panels, and exhibition construction where components need to be hung concealed and changed out repeatedly. Unlike standard biscuit connectors that join two panels edge-to-edge, the KOMBI creates a vertical hook-on connection — one part hangs from the other, secured by gravity and the hook profile.

Steps

1. Set your biscuit joiner to cut a #10 slot at 10 mm depth.
2. Cut biscuit slots in the back face of the panel at the desired mounting positions.
3. Insert the KOMBI Hook Connector into each slot.
4. Secure by screwing in with the included PH screws (3 × 25 mm) or glue with KNAPP PU+ Adhesive.
5. Mount the KOMBI Mounting Bracket to the wall or substrate, or install a perforated rail system.
6. Hang the panel by hooking it onto the bracket or rail.

• The KOMBI Hook Connector pairs with the KOMBI Mounting Bracket (K615) for fixed-position wall mounting, or hooks directly onto perforated rails for adjustable positioning.
