Mod-eez®️ Double Clips

Cabinet and Case Goods Connectors | Spring Steel

Mod-eez®️ Double Clips are used in combination with 2 Shoulder Screws and used for wider dimension board material. They are anti-rotating and can be attached in all wood materials, including metal. Mod-eez®️ clips are made for material as little as 5/8″ in thickness and are ideal for attaching screw strips, countertop strips, toe kicks, and any material greater than 3″ in width. Spring steel clips make the joint strong, yet flexible, while the collar on the shoulder screw adds tremendous resistance to torsional pull-out. Simply slide the shoulder screw head down the ramp of the clips and the connection tightens itself. As opposed to many other case goods connectors and nesting all fasteners, with the Mod-eez, all fasteners disappear.

Mod-eez®️ Anti-Rotation

Cabinet and Case Goods Connectors | Spring Steel

Mod-eez®️ Anti-Rotation clips are cabinet and closet fasteners that work especially well to connect furniture components, such as a table aprons and chair stretchers as little as 2″ in width. The Mod-eez®️ anti-rotation clips are only .390″ wide, making them perfect for 1/2″+ thick material. Spring steel makes the joint strong, yet flexible, and with the clip located in its pocket and the system assembled, all fasteners disappear. Mod-eez®️ Anti-Rotation clips are highly used for components with narrow rails and stiles such as end tables, night stands, bookcases, knock-down, and RTA furniture, as there is no rotation once the components are connected.

Dowel Connectors

KNAPP®-Dowel

6 mm and 8 mm | Plastic

The KNAPP®-Dowel is a strong and durable self-holding plastic dowel connector available in 6×28 mm and 8×36 mm. This dowel is made of high-strength weather-resistant (POM) plastic. As opposed to most case goods connectors and closet fasteners, the special design of threaded ribs grips itself into the borehole, hence, no clamping of the workpiece is needed. Unlike conventional wooden dowels, it has the option to be used with or without adhesive. If used with the recommended KNAPP®-Adhesive PU+ (Z011/1) the lengthwise grooves and two holes ensure an optimal distribution of the glue and a firm anchoring in the material, therefore, creating a strong and tight connection between the components when hardened. Unlike wooden dowels that can shrink and swell when exposed to the outdoors, the KNAPP Dowel always keeps its strength and it’s consistency.

TUCK Dowel

Spring Steel Compression Dowel | No Glue needed

The TUCK is a spring steel compression dowel for attaching components without glue or clamps that is immediately load-bearing. TUCK is available in five sizes. The 6 x 25 mm, 8 x 35 mm and 10 x 32 mm dowels are processed like conventional wooden dowels. The 10 x 28 mm and 10 x 16 mm are screwed onto a component, while the other end is inserted into a borehole. The spring steel design guarantees permanent tightening by pushing against the borehole wall. The processing can be done with a dowel-boring machine or CNC. Due to eliminating usual clamping aids, the productivity of the gluing of workpieces (furniture parts such as chair stretchers) can also be drastically increased even in smaller manufacturers.

MILLER Dowel Joinery System

Wooden Stepped Dowel | 3 Sizes | 4 Wood Species

MILLER Dowel is a stepped, solid-wood structural fastener that forms tight joints all the way through. This traditional joinery system is highly used for projects such as end tables, coffee tables, night stands, toy chests, and more.

Why is it stepped? Simple. Ease of insertion. The Miller Dowel can be inserted 3/4 of the way in before you have to hammer it in. The first section acts like a clamp that securely holds the first piece to the second. The second section gives the joint shear strength. The remaining sections bond with the anchor pieces to form a secure joint. The sections are not tapered, which means that the glue surface remains intact through the entire length of the dowel engaging with the wood.

Inserting the dowel from the outside in makes installation a breeze. You can do your aligning and drilling all in one step. With a number of wood species to choose from, you will be building beautiful traditional furniture with minimal effort.

Biscuit Connectors

Biscuit Connectors

Snap-in | Slide-in | Plastic & Metal

Slide-in Connectors

The CHAMP, SUNNY, SILVER and METAL biscuits follow the same design, principles, and functions with slight variations. All of them sit in a standard #20 biscuit slot (4 mm), they are self-tightening, and non-visible. The connector halves are simply knocked into the biscuit slot with a hammer following the radius of the cut. All of the biscuits can also be disassembled, with the exception of the SUNNY biscuit that locks in place. SILVER and METAL have optional integrated locking tabs that can be engaged using a nail punch. These biscuits connectors consist of two identical halves that are installed into the biscuit cut and simply engage by sliding the two halves together.

Clip-in Connectors

FAST is a snap-in cabinet connector that is commonly used for face frame assembly and is also knocked in a #20 biscuit slot. The CLIPS requires a #10 biscuit slot and is used to attach toe kicks and removable panels. Both, the CLIPS and the CHAMP are installed using KNAPP Adhesive PU+ (Z011/1). Through the holes on the bottom of the connector, the KNAPP Adhesive PU+ can bond firmly to the material. A permanent connection can be made by gluing the joint.

With 6 different designs, you can join components without the use of clamps or glue for a variety of applications. Whether you manufacture or design kitchen and bathroom cabinets, case goods, closets, or architectural millwork, we have a solution that will work for you.

The KLICK System

KLICK Dovetail Connector

Snap-in Connector for Trims and Moldings

The KLICK is one of our case goods connectors used to snap-in components with small dimensions, such as trims and moldings. After you’ve made your route, you can simply snap the KLICK woodworking connector into the custom dovetail groove. Because two dovetail routes must be made, the KLICK is commonly used where most pre-manufacturing can be done in the shop. You can combine the KLICK with the KLICKpro, making a firm connection by utilizing one dovetail route and a 12 mm groove. Use our KLICK System to take the place of unsightly nail and screw holes while maintaining a beautiful finished look. If you do more on-site applications, try our sKLICK Dovetail Connector.
