Step 1: Install the Railbolt

After completing the prep work, assemble the railbolt’s shaft and gear housing into the handrail.
Drill a 1″ hole into the newel post and install the keyhole disc using the provided screws. Ensure the disc is flush or slightly recessed into the post.

Step 2: Connect the Railbolt

Insert the railbolt’s tip into the keyhole disc on both sides of the connection.
Push the handrail downwards to position the railbolts securely in the keyhole discs.
