The CHICO is a precision connector made of aluminum die-cast zinc, which can also be used in Corian®, Marlan®, and similar materials in addition to wood materials. The halves of the connector are screwed into a groove (50 x 12 x 10 mm) and joined sliding them together. While sliding them into each other, the joint tightens up and is immediately load-bearing. The tried and tested CHAMP biscuit is a #20 self-tightening, non-visible plastic slide-in connector and universally used for all types of materials for furniture, case goods, and architectural millwork. The two halves of the plastic connector are simply glued into the slot. Through the holes on the bottom part of the connector, the KNAPP Adhesive PU+ (Z011/1) can bond firmly to the material.
