The tried and tested CHAMP biscuit is a #20 self-tightening, non-visible plastic slide-in connector and universally used for all types of materials for furniture, case goods, and architectural millwork. The two halves of the plastic connector are simply glued into the slot. Through the holes on the bottom part of the connector, the KNAPP Adhesive PU+ (Z011/1) can bond firmly to the material. The CHICO is a precision connector made of aluminum die-cast zinc, which can also be used in Corian®, Marlan®, and similar materials in addition to wood materials. The halves of the connector are screwed into a groove (50 x 12 x 10 mm) and joined sliding them together. While sliding them into each other, the joint tightens up and is immediately load-bearing. The WALCO® V wall connector set consists of a “dovetail” shaped hot-dip galvanized bracket and a specially shaped counterpart screw. An optional lock can be installed to latch the connection against the slide-in direction. Prefabricated walls can be connected to each other within just few minutes. -
The WALCO® 40 set consists of two identical brackets made out of blue-galvanized steel. Commonly used gaskets can be installed on the prefabricated wall panels. When sliding the wall panels together, the brackets hook into each other in a dovetail-like manner and tighten up the joint.
